Melinda and the Moth
Melinda wants an A for her science
project, and to earn that she plans a
torture experiment on a
Mesopotamian Tiger Moth. The moth
protests and tries to dissuade
Melinda from torturing him. The
moth tries many tactics to no avail,
and then he chooses to forgive
Melinda. The power of his
forgiveness empowers Melinda to  
choose a different path.

Inspired by the iconic image of the
Abu Ghraib torture victim,
Melinda
and the Moth
has been produced in
2009 in Baltimore and Seattle.
